My name is Randy Heller.

I’ve been building websites for as long as there’s been a Web to build them for, since 1994.

Early on, all of the sites I created were coded by hand … because that was the only way to do it. There were no canned templates to speak of back then, the way there are now. Which meant that every website was “custom” whether developers liked it or not.

WordPress hit the scene as a blogging tool in the early 2000’s and I instantly gravitated toward it, excited by the potential to build more dynamic blog sites than the templated ones offered by popular platforms like LiveJournal and Blogger.

Since then, WordPress grown into the most widely used CMS (content management system) in the world and forms the backbone for more than 450 million websites. And I’ve followed it each step of the way, still excited by the potential to build more dynamic sites than the templated ones offered by today’s popular platforms, like Wix and Squarespace.

During the past 20+ years, I’ve also worked my way up the ranks to such distinguished corporate roles as Senior Web Developer and Marketing Director, mostly in the publishing sector. I’ve learned from some great people along the way, and have put in countless hours honing my talents as a marketer, a planner, a writer, a strategist, and a thought leader.

What I love most of all about possessing this wealth of experience and insight is that I’m able to bring it with me to every development project I take on … particularly for clients like yourself, who understand the need for a website that meets YOUR unique business and organizational needs.

I can’t wait to talk with you.
